This is why Star Wars fandom will always be the worst, bar none. I have no opinion one way or the other about the Prequels, but attitudes like this make me ashamed to even like the same series they do.

I don't care if you don't like X, Y, or Z part of a large, long running franchise, but making people feel like shit because they like something you don't is a dick move.

The only upside I see with the new movie coming out, is that the old gasbags of the fandom (and let's be real, SW fandom for the longest time was -and still is- pretty homophobic, sexist, misogynist, racist, and all around the king of Gatekeeping. Plus, the mostly white dudebro fans salivate over the Empire, which for all intents and purposes is basically a thinly-veiled analogue to the Third Reich. Just saying.) will inevitably have to fight the current era of female-and-minority progressive-dominated media fandom. That should be a riot to watch.

Let's just figure that it was something from SPN fandom, so horrible the internet deleted it spontaneously.

Uggghhh that Hetalia one

bullshit like that is why I left that fandom

My favorite cosplay ever was the rule 63 America with the shorts, boots/cowgirl hat, and flag bikini under open white button-down, but I don't wear it anymore because I'm too embarrassed to be publicly associated with Hetalia fandom
