The pokemon fandom's surprisingly open to original characters compared to pretty much any other fandom I've been in, even other monster-related ones.

Yeah, he's OK, but I made the mistake of looking for fanfic last week and 99% of the stories were shipping Bill/somebody. It was bizarre. (Let me have my gen Mystery Twins Being Awesome stories, damn it!)

I've been in fandom for a really long time, and have jumped on a lot of juggernaut slash bandwagons, and I still have no idea how Sterek is as popular as it is.
