I'd be thrilled if more people got something out of it. :) The attempted rape is very brief, and abortive. The film lacks an emotional climax without it. Having watched the cut version recently, it's been on my mind. It's sort of a grimly optimistic film. I recommend it to everybody but warn them about the content.
