No!! I'm only beginning to venture into the marvellous world of cheesy 20th-century action-adventure franchises. Thank you; I'm certainly putting it on my to-watch list.

Cushing and Lee are superb in this, as always. The film isn't too remarkable in other ways if you aren't interested in the history of horror; but it's a joy to watch these two working together.

YES. Watch 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' and 'Last Crusade' (1st and 3rd movies) for sure. The second and fourth are both forgettable, but not *horrific*. Just not as good as the first and third.

The second is wayyyyy before than the fourth

Um, what?

Sorry, I'm a mite out of it, it's Friday night.

Temple of Doom is wayyyyyy better than Crystal Skull. Temple of Doom is IMO unquestionably worth a watch, even if it's not on the level of Raiders. I really like Temple. Crystal Skull, on the other hand, is... not fantastic.

Doom is the one with the lounge singer and the little kid, right? Glad you liked it but...homg, i freakin' hated every inch of that movie.

Hated, hated, hated. The last one, CS, is...okay. Not *good*. Not Raiders or Crusade, but...okay.

Doom, though. Jayzus, no. Never again.

I legitimately really like Temple of Doom. I can't even explain why - I completely get why people dislike it. I guess it feels the closest to actual 30s adventure serials, in some way. I love the little touches and I love the setting (even if it's portrayed in a way that's pretty unambiguously racist) and I love the action set pieces and I love the decision to try to make it darker and I love Short Round and everything. It's just really fun. I don't even know.

Crystal Skull... I have a lot of problems with.

Hey, to each their own. So long as i don't ever have to watch it again....

CS was just...homg. It had *potential*, what with Marion and all, but.... No. Just...no.
