In the UK, if you're talking about Asian people you typically mean Indian or Pakistani as that's what Asian means in the UK. I'm assuming OP put 'Middle Eastern' just so not to confuse people who might not be aware that in the UK, Asian is not the same as in the US. Basically, OP wanted you to think of brown people.
