I'm going to turn 31 in a little over two weeks and I share your general mindset (though there's no chronic illness in my case). Ultimately I'm generally pretty happy with my homebody life, too...but I'm with you in occasionally longing for something more, too, or feeling like I really should get out there more.

Anywho, this secret is awesome and has a great attitude behind it, and gives me a similar optimism for if and when I do get the gumption and means to get out there. I hope you go forth and have many excellent and fun adventures, OP!
