I loved it. I adore Missy, she's rapidly becoming my favorite character (possibly ever?). There were some confusing bits, but I think that was on purpose.

Also, my brother (who rarely watches DW) loved it as well. He especially appreciated the fact that he could follow along, knew who everyone was, etc. With previous eps he was often lost because they were so connected.

I feel the same about Missy. I have a thing for villains who have fun doing what they do. Plus, I love that no matter what she's doing, whether she's tagging along or being evil, she's also completely crazy.

And I loved the references to the history between her and the Doctor that transcends their enemy relationship. And I really loved that she's the one he sent his last message to her. That, to me, says that he's as connected to her as she is to him, and that's what I really wanted.

And even aside from all of that, she's just so fun. Michelle Gomez is perfection. I really hope we're going to get more Missy.
