Adventures come in many shapes and sizes.

If you do not have money then yeah, don't go backpacking in Asia for 6 months. But, an adventure can also be: work abroad, for example (not like charity stuff, that's also for wealthy kids, but genuine work for real money). I've done that last summer. I'm currently looking into working on a ship or teaching abroad. But adventure ca be smaller - like spent a weekend with someone you've just met who will give you another perspective on the world.

(Also, travel can be done fairly cheaply)
