probably that whole cheating on his wife then getting together with someone very young? i'm not looking this shit up, i don't remember if he was cheatin on sophia bush with the 18 (?) year old or someone else.

Yeah and apparently he's very egotistical and rude. A friend of mine lived in Wilmington while they filmed One Tree Hill and the girl he cheated on Sophia with attended the same church as a friend of mine and brought Chad to the church once. He was very stuck up according to the friend.

Knowing about the scandal, I also believe my friend's account.

Yeah. From what I remember, he cheated on his new(ish?) wife, Sophia Bush, with a barely legal extra on the show they work on. It's also rumored that he cheated on Bush with Paris Hilton.

Anyway, their marriage was so short-lived that she was able to get an annulment. Pretty shitty.

She wasn't actually able to get an annulment. The annulment was denied so she filed for divorce and it was granted pretty quickly.

It was widely reported during his CW years (GG, DC, OTH) that he was a complete and total dick. This was both before and after his short-lived marriage to Sophia Bush.

If you can find the MTV special behind the scenes of House of Wax, then you'll see some of it for yourself. I don't remember what it was called but there were several episodes. IIRC, they filmed his proposal to Sophia during that.

Basically, Chad cheated on Sophia Bush on a younger girl after being married to Sophia for a short time. And, apparently, he was a jerk during Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, etc. I'd like to think he's not as much of an asshole now that he's grown up. *shrugs* I like giving him the benefit of the doubt because I will forever be a Rory/Tristan girl, so yeah...

He also bullied Jared Padalecki during Gilmore Girls, supposedly. And I love that his reputation as unlikable is like, memetic among actors in his age group. He even became a small running gag on Psych...although that could've also had something to do with his name being fun to say.
