I was agreeing with you, just adding on :)

The cultural whole I think is also harder because the country has less history, there's less to look back on to be able to point out trends as easily as France for example

It also has the disadvantage of having so much crammed into such a short time since it was founded just before the industrial revolution when history culture and media started moving at a much much faster pace than it ever had before, so US history kinda hits the ground running at 60 whereas most of Europe gets a slower buildup
