Finland and yes it has had an effect.

1. Idk. I prefer loose clothing over skimpy clothing for comfort's sake, so I don't really own a lot of skimpy clothes? I think if I thought it looked good on me I'd be down with wearing it.

3. I would and I have been to such places a lot.

4. Asexual, don't do sex.

5. I do. Not nervous. My curtains are always closed anyway.

6. I would, and I have been to mixed gender saunas (usually among relatives/friends).

My ex girlfriend was Finnish, and she told me it's very typical for families to all have private saunas, and they are always mixed gender (and naked, of course). I think that's another interesting question - would you be comfortable being naked around opposite gender family members. I'm a woman and I think I'd be more or less comfortable in mixed gender bath houses and such, but I think I wouldn't be able to handle my male family members seeing me naked and vice versa.

I can handle family-members better than strangers I think? It's so common, and I have been seeing naked people ever since I was very small. We had a private sauna when I was growing up, and we bathed together until I was about 12 after which I bathed with my mom and my brother with my dad (because it was starting to get small). And our family owns a very old farm, which has a huge sauna, so everytime we went there we went to the sauna with the people in there.

But yes basically, I've seen my parents, my brother, cousins (both sex), aunts, grandmas, great-uncles and -aunts naked.

We also swim in lakes nude, if it happens to be a private beach (one might have one attached to a summer cottage).

Growing up, we had a pool, so we'd all go swimming and then my dad would have everybody hand over their swimsuits and we'd swim naked for a while while he hung up the suits (including his) so there wouldn't be dripping-wet suits in the house. Swimming naked was *awesome*.

The we'd have an assembly-line shower, with dad in the shower and mom putting us all in one at a time. He'd scrub you down and hand you out to mom, and the next one would go in. It was quicker than the four of us bathing one at a time, and neater, too.

We stopped doing that when older brother and sister we in the throes of puberty, but being nude around my family was never a huge issue, either.

I'm with you on the "strangers vs. relatives" thing. That's just a little bit to close for comfort...
