I kind of wished the "Dreamland" eps had the actors play each other beyond when they saw their own reflections, though. I can see the pros of doing it the way they did, but it would've been cool to see the acting (like the frightened elderly woman and the pissy young pilot who switched).

Well yeah, but that wouldn't have made sense in the context of the plot.

ayrt - I can see the actors playing each other being harder to write and work around, for various reasons, and why they chose to do it that way (Morris-in-Mulder's-body would be funnier wrt Scully's reactions, for example; but Mulder-in-Morris' body would be harder to keep remembering, hey, that's Mulder in there, and scenes like his farewell to her might not have been as effective.). But why wouldn't it make sense in the context of the plot, since it centers around body-switching?

Sorry, upon rereading your comment, I misunderstood you. I think I get it now and yeah, that might've been interesting but I suspect Duchovny's limitations as an actor would've gotten really obvious, really fast.

ayrt - Ah, ok. Yeah, Duchovny played awkward and meek well in Small Potatoes and Bad Blood, but differentiating the cockiness he has as Mulder from the type of cockiness Morris has seems like it'd be tougher.
