I'm so freaking excited! The trailer looked so epic. I'm expecting that the game will be full of sexy adults aged roughly 20-35 running around catching Pokemon, trading and battling, and of course massive battles in the middle of Times Square to capture Mewtwo as a community.

In reality, I'm gonna play it and get really excited when I see someone else near, and rush up to them only to realize that I'm staring at a nine year old... ack. lol

I expect the age range for this will be quite a bit higher than for normal Pokemon games. For one thing, you have to have a cell phone (and plan). Also, according to this site, the average age is quite high. http://www.siliconera.com/2014/12/01/pokemons-audience-growing-older/

ayrt

True, though I see tiny kids these days with their own cell phones and I expect that trend will only continue.

Though for what it's worth, I did think it was interesting that the trailer chose to feature mostly adults. I only remember one kid somewhat-featuring, that wasn't a part of a crowd. Could be that they are going to market it for somewhat older audiences, too.

Well I'm in college and a lot of my friends are stoked for it, so I think there probably will be a good amount of adults playing it, but it will probably depend on where you live too.
