I would write it on the natural plant dyes of the Northern Territory (Australia). No one's done it before. I would examine known dyes, discover new dyes, based on examining the ethnobotany and research papers of neighbouring regions, and identify candidate plants in the same genus or family, and go out in the field, identify and test them for shade and fastness.
