Yeah, it's a fucking giant pain. My damn *arm* is swollen. I hate the thought of going to the doc, and it *does* seem to be getting better but....maybe not? I can't fucking tell, and it's driving me nuts.

ARRGH.

I've never tried Zanfel or Calagel. I think i shall get some tomorrow, if I can find it here. Anything to make me feel better.

Some people apparently swear by a baking soda and water paste, or a poultice of cooked oatmeal, or apple cider vinegar--or even weird stuff like cold coffee--but I've never actually tried any of those myself.

OTOH, if your whole arm has swollen up, you may be at the point where you actually do need Prednisone.

Well, a frozen towel has helped a lot to keep the itch down/the redness down, and it's less swollen today, so....*fingers crossed*


I also got a generic-brand Zanfel, which I shall be trying out soon.
