They rather signposted such an endgame last season. It would make sense, but I'd still not be thrilled if it happened.

By him repeated inserting himself into Claire's life and trying to repair the damage he did by taking her father away and demolishing her happy and stable family. They made it very clear that Cas feels a deep remorse and a need to make things right.

I'm trying hard to continue to care about SPN, but I'm just. . . losing interest. The past few seasons were just blah.

I think I'd still care if Cas died, but at the same time, I'd just assume they'd bring him back.

Haven't watched in years so all I can say is that she's cute and her hair is spectacular. I hope she doesn't die.

Eh, if it's the end of his run, maybe. Which hopefully would come at the end of the show. Which it would be for me anyway if he wasn't on anymore.

Two seasons is two too many for this show. I checked out a long time ago, but are we gonna pretend two whole seasons more is insignificant? Man, I wish the CW would stop fucking the dead Winchester that is SPN and put it to bed.

The possibility it might go one season after this one seems pretty insignificant, yeah. Given the number of times the CW has beaten this dead horse, I think the shocking thing would be for them to actually call it quits.

are you really sure she would? I love Castiel but would never started to hate Claire if he sacrificed for her.

OP here -

I'm not sure, but she's extremely protective of Castiel. She gets angry at Sam and Dean when they're mean to him; she hates Meg for manipulating him during the time he was in her care (as she calls it.) And she was angry at Claire for pushing Castiel away and hurting his feelings earlier in the season.

She just loves Castiel insanely much, and he has actually helped her depression a lot.

If he died permanently, even if she didn't mean to, I think she would resent whatever or whoever got him killed.
