The most extreme example I've read is an essay that said the entire series is an unintentional tragedy about an asexual girl succumbing to compulsory heterosexuality by being forced to pretend that she's in love with a boy until she believes it.

... Okay, *maybe* I could get behind her relationship with Peeta being based on enforced proximity, but she is pretty obviously into Gale in the first bit of the first book.
