Fandom! The place where you can criticize someone's ingrained preference for het, because it heteronormative, but you can't criticize someone's ingrained preference for underage noncon, because then you're kinkshaming. :/

Truthfully, anon, I do think it's pretty problematic if one wants to ship a pairing but feels unable to do so until they've made it het. Like, wtf? But if het's what does it for a person, then as long as they're not doing anything more overtly and/or deliberately homophobic/heterosexist, I'm not going to get on their case about it.
