List exceptions to your rules.

I don't like spicy food, but a love a few drops of siracha on pizza.

Similar here. I don't like chili pepper-based heat (though spice/ginger/horseradish heat is my jam), but a drop or two of sriracha is heaven on so many things.

I don't like most films or shows aimed at women. I love Shonda shows, though.

I dislike basically all first person video games except for Metroid Prime.

Something about it just works.

I don't particularly enjoy pork. But if it's in a hot dog and beef dogs aren't available I'll eat 'em. Slim Jims are fine too.

Bacon?

I do not understand the internet's obsession with bacon. It's just fly strips to me.

I don't find hairy backs attractive, but my husband is pretty furry. It's snuggly.

I hate it when people ask me about marriage and kids. However, I find it cute and funny when young children do it.

I don't like country music, but I love almost everything by Garth Brooks.

Isn't he really a rock musician, though?

I'm bad at genres, but I think he's in that spot where he's not super country, but he's significantly more country than rock.

Garth Brooks is very much country, but there is a significant amount of overlap between the two genres, and he sticks pretty close to that edge. Plus he's a lot smoother than a lot of country from his earlier era. He's never really done much with twang, which I'm glad of. I love country, but not so much the old twang.

Somewhere between 50-75% of country songs get played on southern rock stations, and vice versa from my experience.

I hate romance films, except for My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

I don't like cheese, except in a few specific instances: 1. pizza 2. ravioli 3. quesadillas (ONLY made by me, with colby-jack cheese) and 4. parmesan cheese either by itself or on just about anything

I love chocolate anything, except for chocolate ice cream. Just doesn't taste right.
