Which fandom of yours would you most want to live in or be a part of? And what would your role be?

Mine would be Middle Earth, and as much as I'd love to be an elf I pretty much am a hobbit in real life.

Pokemon trainer, for sure. Being a Night Elf druid in Azeroth would be cool.

Star Trek world. Whatever that is. MCU is basically this world but with a greater chance of super villains. TWD is a no go. I guess X-Men might give me a change to be a mutant, but I'd probably end up with a terrible power. Middle Earth if I could be a hobbit, but even then there is a chance of a giant eye ball murdering me.

Repilicators and the implications of their existence alone make me want to be in the Star Trek Universe.

Rivers of London, 1000%. I think I might end up as a genius loci, too.

And y'know. Peter and Nightingale could use a proper forensic victim identification specialist.

Ivalice (Final Fantasy XII)

As cool as it would be to be a sky pirate, I would most likely just a regular person sweating away in Rabanastre or something. Maybe I would be part of the ~~Insurgence~~ Resistance though.

I want to live in FFXII's Ivalice, too, only I think I'd want to live on the Phon Coast.

I wouldn't mind living in Cloudbank (of Transistor fame.) It looks like the kind of place I'd want to live in forever. Barring its corruption/erasure by the Process, of course :)

I wouldn't mind living in Steven Universe's universe. I could be a gem or human and I think I would like it. (Not a homeworld gem though.)

Can I just choose a writer's general aesthetic? Because I'd love to live in James Blaylock world and just hang out in some old house somewhere on the California coast somewhere with my dog and watch the fog roll in and not have to worry about money and chill with my kooky, chill neighbors sometimes, and maybe occasionally have to deal with some spookiness and a weird obsessive psychopath businessman or something.

If that's not allowed, I would like to live in the world of A College Of Magics, because it's basically an idealized Edwardian Europe with magic, and that would be great. Other good choices would be Harry Potter if I could be a wizard, or LotR if I could live in the Shire.

That's a tough question! I've narrowed it down to three universes. I'd either want to be a black mage on the Phon Coast of Ivalice (FFXII), a mage in Twilight Town (Kingdom Hearts), or a waterbender in the Avatar-verse (preferably LoK era, because they have air conditioners). Basically I want to live somewhere that has magical healing available so that I could have a chance of being healthy and out of pain again.

Star Trek would probably be my top choice because of the technological advancements, like replicators and holodecks are pretty sweet.

Pokémon would be my next because even if I wasn't a trainer I'd still have a good chance of having one as a companion.

Middle Earth would be lovely, I'd want to be an elf so bad but like you I'd probably end up as a Hobbit, but their homes are gorgeous so I could roll with that.

And being a Night Elf druid or Blood Elf mage in Azeroth would be great, but I'd have to deal with giant spiders, which is less cool so I'm more undecided on that one.

Either Middle Earth (I would also want to be an elf, but would end up a hobbit; still, hobbits are awesome and live the good life) or the Mass Effect universe. (Let's pretend the ending didn't happen, because I wouldn't want to be around for that. Still, the technological advances are fascinating, the aliens are hot ~~I've got my priorities straight~~, exploration is easier than ever...it's an interesting universe.)

The hotness factor is a great priority. I'm all about the hotness of elves.

Harry Potter is first choice. I want to be a witch. I'd probably be a weird Ravenclaw who hangs out with Luna Lovegood.

second choice....Pokemon maybe? I'd love to be a Pokemon Coordinator. With electric and normal Pokemon. Travel around , put together costumes with petty battle money and perform.

I'd also love to be a digidestined in the Digital world. Temporary escape from school to go to the Digital World? Yes please.

Alternatively- either Equestria or Canterlot High. I'd be a unicorn who runs a shop of weird looking doodads and writes in the meantime. Dreamy Haze is the name!

I wanna live in the Rhythm Heaven world bc it seems like you can do pretty much anything as long as you can keep a beat. I would conquer the world.

I mean if I'm being completely honest I'd most like to be in the world of Pokemon.

I'd like to think I'd be a badass trainer or gym leader, but heh, who can say? I might just be a Pokemon, myself. Most likely I'd be an aide at a Pokemon Center or something, which would be cool, but not as cool as being a trainer.

The "secure a long and happy life" option is Pokemon! I would just be one of those NPCs who hangs around the woods giving people free potions or items or whatever.

The "thrill ride" option would be Homestuck! Preferably as an Sburb player (Maid of Heart, yo), but I would def. be one of the loser ones like dear sweet precious Fedorafreak, who doesn't end up making a universe or doing anything of importance, but is a funny footnote in paradox space history. It would be fun to have a chance at being a legendary hero, even if I would probably fail for whatever reason.

I agree with you on Middle Earth, and the roles there - Elf or Hobbit. I feel I am more hobbit IRL, but I like Elves so... *Shrug*. Actually, I think of anywhere in Arda, I'd prefer Valinor, because frankly 3rd Age Middle Earth is a rough place to live.

The other place is one I invented myself, called the Nightlands. It's an idea of a world that has a large wedge of it existing in permanent night, and while magic no longer exists in the Daylands, it is still very much present in the Nightlands.

So many worlds I would love to live in but would probably die right away because I don't really have the skills to survive in any of them haha!

As much as I am tempted to go with some Fantasy world, I'm a sucker for modern hygiene and I wouldn't want to live in a world without proper plumbing, healthcare etc. - so yeah, that's a big factor why most fantasy (or historical) fandoms are out. Middle Earth is probably an exception because hey, elves and all, they probably figured something out. No clue what my role would be there though, but when in doubt probably a hobbit or some random human despite wanting to be an elf, like just about everyone.

I think living in the world of Karin Lowachee's Warchild series would be very interesting. But I'm far too nice to be a space pirate and even though I think it's cool, I'd probably not fit in well with the military so I'd probably end up a merchantor smuggler (who dies during a pirate raid or in the crossfire of the war, knowing my luck) or some random colony dweller.

Since I'm on a bit of a nostlagia trip, I think some parts of the Star Wars universe pre-Episode 1 are really cool. I was always fascinated by Couruscant. I'd love to say I'd be a Jedi but eh... I get annoyed very easily so I might not be the best candidate for that haha! But I'd sure love to live in that temple for a while.
