the point of many of Tarantino's movies is largely that they're "stupid", i.e. do not have factually accurate or particularly logical (common sense-wise) narratives. I mean, this isn't everyone's cup of tea, of course, but he is very much doing this on purpose.

I was just using stupid to describe how I feel about them. I expect they are vaguely intelligent. But I hate them and didn't feel like writing why. :P

Vaguely intelligent like drunken commentary once in a while can hit upon a good point, but mostly it's just slurred shite.
