People are not stupid. This isn't the 1950s where they don't know smoking is bad.

This. I'm a non-smoker, the smell drives me nuts, but hell, I can just go somewhere else at some point if it really gets to me. And the bottom line is that it's not my place to tell people what to do with their bodies.

If it was just their bodies, I would agree with you. But second-hand smoke is a thing.
