I've literally never had a problem with tinypic. What are you experiencing?

If I have to go to the tinypic website, as with the two overlarge secrets today, Google Chrome won't display the image. I use Firefox, or actually write some html with "<img src=[link url]>" in a comment, to even see it.

-sizing issues
-there's no way to post a direct link to a tinypic pic. If you click on the URL, it takes you to an ad-laden monstrosity of a page where the pic is a small section of the screen cradled in crap
-because the pages are ad-laden monstrosities, they sometimes won't load correctly and you can't even see the damn pic
-when you try to back out of a tinypic page, it often redirects you right back to it

It's a malware developer's fucking wet dream, that place.

Uh, you can post a direct link to the jpg in tinypic. Just right click and choose "open image in a new tab" and then cut and paste that image thusly:

That's also how a person could doublecheck on the actual size of the image they uploaded.

They're likely referring to the fact that when you try to go to a "direct" link from tinypic, it redirects you to the aforementioned ad-laden monstrosity of a page. It won't let you go directly to the jpg the way imgur does.
