There's a scene in Condemned where you've spent most of your time trying to track down a serial killer who poses his victims with mannequins (while also dealing with violently insane hobos and freaks as well as hiding from the police.) You finally manage to track him down to his lair in the very dilapidated and abandoned, but occupied department store. And when you get there... he's dead, posed with a mannequin. And a nearby room suggests that a lot of final victims in serial murder cases that have long gone cold might actually have been the perpetrators in those very cases.
