Yeah, the Truffle ones are the best I've tried.

What is it you are wanting to buy (if I may ask)?

You may ask!

I'm looking at power assistance options for manual wheelchairs. Powered chairs aren't a great option where I live because there's a lot of uneven and steep paths and curbs without ramps. Sounds boring, but look how awesome they are:

Only $8500 AU.
I could buy a car with that. I could buy two cars with that.

I knowww. I was like "okay, it's probably going to be at least $1000. you could probably sell some stuff and-"

Nope.

Is it full of diamonds? I don't understand.

Insurance won't cover any of it? Or not because it is a specific type?

Doubtful. I'm waiting on paperwork before I try talking to them.
If I can convince them that I do need the chair, I might be able to get them to cover that or part of that. The policy is vaguely worded, and the parts that mention power assistance are under spinal cord injury and TBI. I mean, technically I have had both but I'm still ambulatory.

I know the maximum allowance used to be 10k, not sure if it still is. Even if they let me use what's left of that after the actual chair to put towards this, I still don't think I could afford it.

There are a few other types. I think they'd probably cover the push lever kind, but those aren't really helpful to me. There are wheel attachments and a weird bike head thing you stick on the front and drive like a motorbike. This just seems to be an easier option and better suited to the kind of places I go.
