SA, I probably should have said fucking around and generally not giving a shit. Louis actually started stepping up and acted like he gave a damn once Zayn left. All I can think about is the first time they sang Stockholm Syndrome in Japan, where Zayn and Louis didn't even know the words and it was painfully obvious they did not care.

Yes. Not trying to slate Zayn, his voice is great but I don't see how it added anything much to their songs, he often sounded too similar to Liam. And it's not like he brought much in terms of energy or personality and didn't seem that committed to the group, plus everyone seems a lot happier now compared to last year, so it's all good.
I love the 2 songs from their new album, if the rest is as good (which I think it is) I'll finally admit I like them in public :D

I absolutely agree with you about Louis. I mean, I know a couple of songs and I don't follow fandom, but every time I see a picture or interview, I think, "Damn, he's pretty."

I sure as hell don't listen to 1d for their pretty faces, looks don't show through earphones... and their faces are genuinely not that pretty. Except Zayn, Zayns was definitely the looker in the group.

The UK leg of their world tour with around 30 sold out shows has just started and they have a new #1 album out in November, so they are definitely still around.

if you're specifically referring to this song I don't think it sounds better bc Zayn isn't there, it's simply one of the best songs they have released, if not the best so far.
