Why does she have to be a Mary Sue? She could be a colleague, a member of the CPS he meets in the course of work, or the woman who works at his local Starbucks who notices he comes in at the same time every day and sits at the same table. OCs are not by definition Mary Sues.

Evidence:

Anon AIRT was responding to refers to fairly nice-looking middle-aged man as "that old thing."
All original characters are Mary Sues to Anon AIRT was responding to.

These suggest that Anon AIRT was replying to is ageist in a childish way, unable to imagine any point of view but their own, and leans toward simplistic reasoning like "all OCs are mary Sues."

Conclusion: Anon AIRT was replying to is not very mature, and is probably not very capable of sophisticated reasoning.

Anon I was reacting to comes off as the kind of person who thinks anyone over 29 is gross, and who thinks in simplistic generalities ("OC = Mary Sue"). I don't exactly associate either of those attitudes with maturity.
