There was a really interesting exploration of this moral question in Channel 4's Humans, and I assume the Swedish drama it was based on. Including a pedo in an android brothel.

I think it's pretty complicated a question, but I wouldn't condemn or ban it outright, since I'm pretty liberal about sex/sexual desires, porn etc. I've been a performer myself. I still think we live in a morass of rape culture tho.

The real dolls creep me out because they go firmly into uncanny valley for me, not really any other reason. Those sex toys that are like... parts of women really creep me out more though. Like a disembodied ass, or a limbless headless fuckable torso... why.

(As for robots, I think the idea of making sentient sex dolls is freaky as hell and goes into uncomfortable territory for me. If its not sentient I am cool.)
