And the reason why the sequel to Godzilla 2014 is going to really need to push the boat out in terms of getting Godzilla onscreen. If there is any hint of him being held back again, well we already have the narrative of too little Godzilla action and too many cuts away from the action. A set meta-narrative is a movie makers worst nightmare (or best friend, no way Nolan's Batman films would have been so praised if the narrative hadn't been so set in his favor).
