I honestly don't give a shit. I'm me no matter where I am.

That doesn't mean I will squeal enthusiastically at every opportunity; other people might not get it and it would be pointless and silly. But I don't hide my interests.

The only thing I'm careful about is keeping my RL identity away from online-only spaces for the sake of security.

Yep, same here. My fannish interests are such a big part of me, anyway, that hiding them would be like hiding my true personality, and I don't see the point of doing that.
