Lately not as well as I used to (for example, I will tell people that I cosplay a little, but more because then I get to brag about building fancy props).
But overall I try to keep my level of investment quiet, and I normally won't let people I know irl have my tumblr or Ao3 handles, and I don't like them reading my fics.
