Well I don't tell people my online handles or ask them about fandom, but I don't have any problem admitting to liking the media I like. I don't have any reason to hide that and it's nice finding fans who share your interest.

I do own some fandom jewelry/accessories too, because I like it. I don't wear it all the time, but I'm not ashamed of it either.
