Re: How much do separate irl and fandom?

It depends on who I'm with. If people ask me about my interests or hobbies I will tell them I'm really into movies and television and 'more geeky stuff'. But few people know or even suspect that I spend hours online talking about this stuff, reading fanfic etc. I do wear a lot of fandom t-shirts, but I try to find subtle prints. Nothing with logos or faces or (usually) text on it. That way for most people it's just an odd print with no real significance. Especially when I've got a cardigan partly covering it up.
