I am, because I was told it would begin one hour ago--nope, just starting to get in the shadow now, will turn red in another hour or so. But now that I've already messed up my sleeping pattern, I'll stay awake and keep watching.

Wow, so after almost one hour of "just dark slowly creeping over, aw shit the moon'll be black not red, sucks for the atmosphere" the moon has actually turned red, with a remnant of light underneath. It's cool and quite creepy!

The moon finally rose enough for me to see it, and I agree! It's very cool!
