golly it's almost as if there's a societal differences between men and women: partner stalking/murder/harassment, street harassment, cat-calling, sexual harassment, sex crimes... if these were even numbers between the sexes, your shock that it's treated differently might make sense. hint: there's a history for one gender that doesn't exist for the other.
