God, this movie looks like straight to dvd drivel. I'm guessing the target audience is 12 year olds so maybe that explains why it looks so stupid.

Eh. I laughed a couple times in the trailer. I won't be seeing it in theaters, but I'll probably catch it on netflix.

I wouldn't expect much from it though, but that's the way I feel about most movies, lol.

I don't pay much attention to apps though, so it's entirely possible Angry Birds is still on top. (Or near top, anyway.)

I thought the design is kind of cute, too, though not enough for me to watch the movie.

I was never fond of the game or the massive roll-out of merchandise, but I always thought the designs for the birds were really very cute, especially the red one. It's a shame the movie took the charm out of the designs.

I heard from a friend working on the movie that even the people working on it think it's weird they're doing a movie.

But if something is popular enough with kids you know a generic movie will eventually be made.

Why did they change the designs? How insulting to the fans! I'm not into AB but I think they were cute and iconic. The new design is most decidedly not.

the fact that you expected an Angry Birds movie NOT to be generic poorly written by-the-numbers garbage is worrying. it was pretty apparent when the movie was announced that it was going to be shit.

do you have high hopes for the Pez movie too?

As a Finn who has to suffer with Angry Birds now being the face of our country (aside from the KKK guy in Lahti) I NEED this film to bomb so we can finally be rid of the Cult of Agitated Fowl.

Considering Angry Birds isn't even popular anymore and hasn't been for a couple of years, how do they plan on making any money off of this movie? It's going to bomb.
