Bad aging

Inspired by #7. Who used to be really cute, but aged horribly?

Drake Bell.

(I love that Josh Peck went in the opposite direction.)

Josh got really hot. I had a huge crush on him back when he was chubby and on Drake and Josh. I saw a recent picture of him and it turns out I might still have a crush on him. He's just nice to look at.

Women:

Anita Eckberg - looking at pictures of her as a young woman, she was absolutely stunning: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/75153887507860931/
Then ended up looking like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Anitaekberg.jpg

Carrie Fisher - this is what Princess Leia looks like now: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/61220876154894672/

Men:

Leonardo di Caprio - Used to be sort of cute in a boy-bandish kind of way. Unfortunately, I don't think really "boyish" looks age well, so he looks crappy now.

David Gilmour from Pink Floyd. Turned into a blah-looking old man.

Dicaprio's problem is mostly just a little extra weight, slicked back hair and too much bronzer. Take those away and he can still bring it.

IDK I think Dicaprio is quite handsome, though he does look better without the extra weight, which I know is super shallow but w/e.

From his Titanic/Romeo and Juliet days, I didn't find him too good looking, though everyone else disagreed with me, but when I saw him in The Beach, I was like, "Damn!"

C. Thomas Howell. With just the right look in just the right role, you can still sort see his boyish Ponyboy charm. But not usually.

Also: Will Friedle and Richard Dean Anderson, though, in all fairness to RDA there was a fairly long period of time where he was aging REALLY WELL. But he went bad hard and quick near the end of Stargate.

I was surprised when I saw C. Thomas Howell on Criminal Minds, but I looked it up and he had some serious health issues and pain can really age someone.

Meg Ryan

Oh god Meg what did you do to yourself?

:(

Re: Bad aging

No kidding. Unfortunately, in her case, it really is 'what she did to herself'. Bad plastic surgery to avoid aging is sometimes worse than actual aging.

Bad plastic surgery, unfortunately. Poor thing looks like The Joker. :(
