Hi fs, just checking back in. I know I haven't been around much lately-- this happens almost every summer because I spend more time with family then, and also I'm often off watching baseball when the post goes up. Well there's been an additional reason I've been away recently, which is that the past couple weeks my old beloved kitty was failing and we said goodbye to him this morning.



Chrestomanci was 15 in April, quite old for a cat. He was my first pet ever and I'mma gonna miss him. I've already done the thing where I look in the usual places he'd sleep in the day and expect to see him there. Rest in peace my fuzzy friend.

That cat has a colouring that reminds me of Meharni - my last cat. If she's still alive, she would be almost 20 years old, though I have to set my mind to think that she may have already passed.

My sympathies for losing such a long-term friend.
