Maternity pay
Better social security
Far greater social mobility
Better environmental legislation (that protects the populace as a whole)
Better gun controls
Considerably less gun crime even where gun ownership per head is higher than the US
Lower obesity rates

Mind you, a few Asian countries can claim all of these too. So basically, despite being one of the richest and most powerful countries in the world (probably second to China now though), America is still the fat, socially stunted embarrassment of the world.

That wealth and power is concentrated in the hands of very few, too. Low social mobility despite pretenses to the contrary. But anyway, most US nonnies here are aware of its issues. Like Trump having got anywhere near being a serious contender for "leader of the free world". Reagan. Bush.
