(Anonymous) 2015-09-30 02:32 am (UTC)(link)One of the subsequent pieces of advices I was given - if the pain has a hot point, a specific area you can touch on, vs a generalized ache, then back off on your activity. And better to rest it a bit too much than too little.
I've had the mental freakout that I have to keep going, otherwise all my progress will be lost, so I push through. But really, losing MONTHS because I was too stupid to rest for a week or two is much worse.
