People aren't reacting the way they are because they didn't pick up on the sarcasm. They're reacting this way because they think you're being unnecessarily dickish about the secret. Even if it's not a profound epiphany for you, it doesn't mean that everyone else has to feel as jaded about it. Amazing this has to be spelled out for you. Maybe I should put the above in all caps and bold text to be sure? Here you go:

PEOPLE AREN'T REACTING THE WAY THEY ARE BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T PICK UP ON THE SARCASM. THEY'RE REACTING THIS WAY BECAUSE THEY THINK YOU'RE BEING UNNECESSARILY DICKISH ABOUT THE SECRET. EVEN IF IT'S NOT A PROFOUND EPIPHANY FOR YOU, IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT EVERYONE ELSE HAS TO FEEL AS JADED ABOUT IT.
