It's got some elements that grate on me, I gave up after the pilot because I literally couldn't tell which scheming old white guy was which, or for that matter which younger rakish white guy was which. But Bear McCreary's music sucked me back in and I'm actually glad I did give it a second try, it has some fun, rich qualities too.

Uh...they're hot, now I want to watch, but I scorn Dan Brown and anything he touches. Is this show worth watching anyway? Or, lbr, I mostly want to know, is there a chance of those two characters interacting again?

Probably not, this is literally the ONLY time they interact.

But it's so totally worth it. It's one of my favourite scenes, ever.

So I have no idea how to answer you. So much terrible stuff, and then one shining gem of a scene.

I tried watching this show but then it looked like it was basically Leonardo da Vinci fucking lots of women and... really? Leonardo da Vinci of all people as a super heterosexual guy? Of all the historical aggressively heterosexual people, they chose the one who was potentially one of the least heterosexual?

He fucks one woman in season one and gets pretty much date-raped by another in season two, but they made it clear he fucks men too. The romance is pretty terrible, but the other elements are absurd and brilliant. Da Vinci meets Dracula in S1 and discovers South America in S2. No, seriously. DRACULA. It's awesome.

Do they show him fucking men? Guess they'll make him even discover a fucking continent if it means distracting the plot away from the gay.

He wasn't when I watched, but I gave up after s1. (Not because of the bait and switch over Leonardo's sexuality, but because I found the mystery aspects of the show uninteresting and they took up too most of the plot.) I'd forgotten the show was still on. Even if they decided Leonardo was more straight than bisexual isn't the guy in this secret supposed to be gay too? I'm sure I remember that being mentioned in s1, but maybe that's just my memory playing tricks on me. I don't remember him getting any gay action either though.

Isn't this show supposed to be on Starz? When did they become so coy about non hetero action? lol.
