Oh, yeah, I agree this is symptomatic of some serious issues with our society itself. Let's discuss why it seems young men are the ones who tend to commit these mass shootings, for instance-something inherent in our society's attitudes about masculinity, for sure. And then we have people who are mentally ill and yet we're resistant to make the real changes that could get them the help they need.

Add easy access to guns into the mix and it's no wonder we're in the state we're in.

It's just depressing as hell that there doesn't seem to be some serious movement to change any of that, even if only slightly.
