Friend said a thing that upset me, apologized, but then went to bed immediately afterwards so we couldn't talk about why this was not ok.

And I'm still upset.

Bringing it up once more the next day is acceptable, but no more after that conversation ends, regardless of whether the resolution is satisfactory or not.

Idk, maybe? It was a very quick sorry and then immediately bailing out. I'd be more inclined to agree with you if this was the first time they said this thing. Which is wasn't.

Or I just might be over-thinking because I'm upset. Which is the rather more annoying part of the situation.

If they said stuff like it before and it was a quick not-really an apology, then that's a different kettle of fish.

I've found sleep to be a great way to tell if I'm just kinda miffed and overthinking something, or if I'm REALLY upset.
