Who's in?

I'm really tempted. Every year I want to do this but November and the whole Xmas season are insanely busy for me. However, this year my roommates are taking a vacation for a week and a half during November and work has been slowish the last few months (watch, I just jinxed myself). I feel like there might be more time than usual.

I have a lot of stories that I'd really like to get on top of...

You should try! The worst that can happen is you write some fraction of a novel.

If I can offer a tip that might help, sometimes it's better to try to take advantage of 5 or 10 minutes here and there whenever you can than to wait for a larger chunk of time. Some people miss out on doing a lot because they feel like it's not worth doing unless they can devote a lot of time in one session. I don't know if you're one of those people but I am and it's always satisfying when I push myself to take advantage of those little five or ten minute periods and look back to realize how much work that added up to over the course of the day.

I am. I do it every year, but I've only won twice. Hope I'm less lazy this time.

I'm in! Already planning. I won last year and now I'm addicted.

I think I'll try it with a fanfiction this year rather than something I've been pinning so much of my hopes on.

But which fanfic? Hmmm tough choice.

Last year I considered doing it to get down a rough draft of a story I'd already outlined... and I still haven't written that draft, so I think I'm going to do it this year.

I'm always in. I've been doing it every year since 2007 and have no plans for stopping. I love it because it's what got me into writing.

I think I might. November is usually a super busy month (start of exam season, hooray...), but I think I may actually manage to get some writing in this year.

Honestly, I've got some small chapters already written out that I am sorely tempted to turn into the real deal.

I've done it half-assedly off and on since 2009 but couldn't get much done due to school. Now that I've graduate college, and have a job that grants me a lot of free time, I'm considering doing it this year.

I have a lot of story ideas that could go on for 50,000 words so I'm gonna have to be decisive in what I want to write.
