My mom, who is not at all superstitious, swears she used to see the ghost of a sailor with a white uniform in our garden. One night when I was sleeping on the couch at my parent's place, same house, I woke up and saw a sort of figure in white, looking like he was suspended in water, outside the sliding glass door - imagine the sliding glass door was a jar of water, the darkness outside was the water, and this guy was trapped in it. Not sure if it was the same thing.

Everyone in the family says I used to talk to my recently deceased grandmother when I was in preschool. Even relatives who don't otherwise believe that stuff. So...
