The other day in a pet peeve thread my answer was people forgetting to tell me things. So of course today I was supposed to get together with some friends and it was getting late so I texted the one who was going to give me a ride and the answer was "oh I forgot to tell you, we're doing it tomorrow instead".

I don't know why I'm apparently so easy for people to forget about.

You need one of those automated messenger services that links to your calendar. My doctors office has one that sends: "to confirm appointment at 00:00 reply 'Y'." the day before.

Maybe then people would get the message. Literally.
