Human nature. The further away from knowing the dead and survivors and relatives, the less there's "a moment" to "allow" them to mourn, and more practical "how can we stop this terrible awful thing from happening again"? Especially if it's a pattern that's preventable. That's human nature man. That's not "cheap political points" per se.

But you know, you're a conservative, so you gotta think like one blaaaahh

That's not human nature. That's the media cycle. A tragedy happens, CNN hypes it because they need viewers, everybody panics, reacts, and after a while the furor died down and things go back to normal. Rinse and repeat.

Newsflash: you don't need a tragedy to talk about your position.

But good job proving my point about people using this for cheap political points. But you know, you're a liberal, and I've come to expect that crowd to make it easy.
