I'm not sure I understand what you're asking me specifically. Sorry.

My point wasn't that there shouldn't be further measures put in place to restrict gun ownership or better security protocols for public buildings. I just think that people who believe that there's a simple solution or really any solution that would prevent all spree killings are forgetting the human element.

Australia had a shooting at a university even after the gun restrictions put in place in response to the Port Arthur massacre in 96.
We've also had 3 (I think) mass casualty events involving arson since then.
If someone decides they want to kill a bunch of people, they're going to find a way to do it.

I far prefer our gun laws to America's. I feel safer knowing most people I speak to have never held a gun than I would if I had one in my house for protection.
