Ok, here goes. In feminism, people are allowed to have personal preferences. Shocking! So you can think short guys are ugly, or chubby girls are ugly, or whatever.

Second, feminism does do a lot to try and counter the MRA idea of 'alpha males' being the only attractive ones. Tall, strong, better paying job, not at all 'like a woman'. I recently read a thread on a feminist forum of someone talking about how they enjoy working outside the home and bring home the paycheck and their husband loves staying home where it's quiet and away from people and taking care of the housework. And 99.9% of the mocking they get isn't from feminists.

Third, a lot of the focus is on following trends of what media says is attractive and criticizing that, and discussing how it interacts with popular opinion of 'attractive'. So you discuss the trend of media very rarely showing fat girls or very muscular girls as attractive, not the fact that plenty of fat girls and lady bodybuilders do have real life fans. Those fans are obviously not worth validating, why?

And fourth, one of the big components of feminism is "It's ok to make women a priority."

Like cat rescues, it's ok for them to focus on rescuing cats and they can better focus their time and resources by specializing. They can have cat specific medications and kennels and collars and scales, without needing to worry about having scales for hamsters and scales for large dogs and fishtanks for rescued fish and swimming pools for rescued aligators and stables and pastures for rescued horses. It doesn't mean that they hate horses and want them all to die, but they recognize that they can do more good by focusing on cats. And constantly questioning "But how will a new newborn kitten ICU cage help THE HORSES?!" doesn't really help.

And it would be awesome if all the horse-rescues were focused on helping horses and not on shutting down the cat-rescues because making things worse for cats will make things better for horses somehow.

But it's ok for a group to have improving things for women being a priority. And they want to fight against the kneejerk reaction for people to say "But what is FEMINISM doing for THE MENS?!" and not "This is a problem for men, where are the people who claim to be for men's rights? Oh, they're leaving flaming bags of poo on female game developer's doorsteps instead. Well that's terrible of them"

Generalising one group by using only the positives and generalising another by using only the negatives really shows your lack of objectivity.

Try reading it again, maybe several tries are necessary for your small brain to understand it.
